We the Media
We're ready in the wings...
'WetheMedia' was formed in response to the 'WeMedia' 2006 conference on 'participatory journalism'. The focus of this group is to debate and further the interests of bloggers, Wikipedians and other independent, net-based journalists. One slot on the first day of the conference was the the Digital Assassins, but who are they and how they were recruited?
Membership is free, open and simple. You can register here, or by clicking on the 'log in/create account' link at the top of every page. Your email address will be verified, if you give it.
The name "We The Media" coincides with the name of Dan Gillmor's book, but he has granted this group permission to use the same title.
